Why You Should Update Your Location
You moved to a new city.
You’re not seeing jobs near you.
You want to see more opportunities by expanding your travel distance.
How to Update Your Location
At the top of your Request page, you can change:
Zip code – This defaults to the zip code you registered with.
Travel radius – How far you’re willing to go for a job. Default is 60 miles. If you pick more than 60 miles, you can see jobs up to 80 miles away.
Pro tip: Increasing your radius even a little can unlock many more jobs. Don’t limit yourself to just 5–10 miles!
Your settings are saved automatically on your device. You don’t need to update them every time you log in.
Updating zip code and radius only changes what you see on the Request page.
It does NOT update your notification area.
If you move far away (for example, from Northern California to Southern California), update your primary zip code under Notifications to keep receiving alerts.
