Do I Need to Take Harassment Prevention Training?

Yes, if your state requires it. Teachers working in California, New York, and Illinois who are W-2 employees of Swing Education must take Harassment Prevention training within 30 days of their hire dates.  Swing will send you an email with a link to the required training for your state when it is time for you to complete the training.

You will take this online training session on the ADP platform. It takes approximately 60-75 minutes to complete and includes a required short test. You must score 100% on the test, retaking the test as many times as needed during the session to reach 100%. (Note: You do not need to do anything on the Swing platform to complete this requirement.)

How to Get Paid For the Training

You must retake Harassment Prevention training periodically, as required by your state. You will receive an email from Swing Education when it is time to retake the training session.

 

This Training is Required by Law

You are responsible for ensuring you complete the mandatory compliance training within the required 30-day timeframe. If you fail to do so, you will be suspended from working for Swing, meaning you will not be able to accept and/or work assignments for Swing. While suspended from working, you’ll have an additional 30 days to take the training. If you do not complete the training within those additional 30 days, your employment with Swing Education will be terminated.
