Eligibility
To be eligible for the SwingCert program:
You must be applying for the Emergency 30-Day Substitute Teaching Permit for the first time.
You must also complete your Swing onboarding in order to get the $150 stipend.
You must successfully obtain your permit through the Swing Cert program.
You need to submit your receipts to verify your eligibility for reimbursement.
Non-Eligible Cases
Applications already started directly with the California Commission on Teacher Credentialing (CTC) outside of SwingCert.
Renewals of the Emergency 30-Day Substitute Teaching Permit. Renewals must be completed solely through the CTC, and no stipend is offered by SwingCert for renewals
Teachers needing to renew their permits should follow the CTC renewal process directly.
