To provide clarity into what goes into each invoice, below is a breakdown of a typical Swing invoice reflecting the average distribution of costs involved in filling a request.

Employment Payroll, Taxes and Benefits Costs (up to 20%) reflect mandatory employer expenses like payroll taxes, insurance, and compliance—required because Swing Subs are W-2 employees. Percentages are typical and may vary slightly by district or request.

Swing Operational Costs cover things like recruiting/onboarding subs, training, platform upkeep, and customer support.
